Because its 4 am and I am still not over the agonizing fact that I didn't meet Matty last time he was in my friggin' country! I decided to finally blog about my glorious moments in SG to ease the pain *wipes tears*

Idk how I managed to get everything done. First, I am terrified of heights so being on a plane isn't really my thing..Second , I've never flewn out of the country , like ever!!! Third, I don't have anyone flying with me and Fourth , How the f did i come up with funds? lols I guess LOVE supercedes everything. Atleast my love for Matt Healy does. Or Maybe I'm just insane. Idk. I have yet to figure that out.
The good news is, My friend Me-Ann lives in SG so She was kind enough to pick me up from the airport and was generous enough to have me stay with her for the 5-day duration of my stay in SG. The only minor problem was how she didn't get any of her leaves approved which means I have to walk around SG on my own while I'm waiting for her to come home. Anyways, Lets start the kwento.
It was Saturday afternoon when I arrived in SG. Since Me-ann had to go to work Monday (bummer) We didn't waste time checking out the city! After droppin' off my bags and taking a quick shower.
We went to Clark Quay to have a couple of drinks after meeting up with my good friend Mabel who also lives in SG! The next day which is a Sunday, We spent the whole day in USS - (which was so much fun btw esp the Transformers ride!!! ) . Monday came and my walkathon started as soon as MeAnn got into her office which is around 7 am , I had no choice but to figure out how the train works which I eventually did after getting into the wrong lane about 3x -ha! And then on the much awaited Tuesday, Travelled back to Sentosa again, on my own to get to HRC to watch my boys - The 1975 then left home Wednesday morning. So did I.
It was incredibly frustrating getting deets 'cos I dunno how to get to places! I ain't familiar with the hotels that stars visiting SG would usually stay at PLUS I have no idea what time they will be arriving! About noon time, Me-Ann found out that She will be on forced OT so being the kind friend she is, she decided she would text her friend Coral to meet me up since she is from Singapore and IS a huge fan of the boys as well , That way I'll have somebody looking up the boys with me! She was kind enough to go to the airport with me , unfortunately though, to no avail =( We didn't get to see them that Monday night =(
By the way, I'm just feeling the need to mention that In totality I prolly spent good 14 hours walking around SG! It was all good the first few hours but afternoon came, and I couldn't walk right anymore for reals! I got several blisters on each foot and every inch of me is sweating like hell bcos its so humid and On top of that, I do not know where to find Matty! Me and Coral waited for about 2 hours at Changi airport till my friend texted about 9 pm that she's finally going home. We decided we'll take the train home for now and just rest this up and do our best to meet the boys tomorrow which is like twice the pressure since its same day as the show!
So I got back around 10 pm and As soon as i hit the sheets , I'm like a dead person! It was the most tiring thing I've ever done my whole life! It made me realize just how much I really love this band. I've never walked this much for anyone ever! Anyway, If you think that not meeting them at the airport is the bummer of all bummers, I woke up around 6 am only to see IG posts of some lucky girl who is also *drumroll* from my country who spent the whole night at the airport and of course.. SHE and her friends MET the boys!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was like Sh*t, I was there!!! I felt like crying my eyeballs out but I figure i'll just suck it up and turn my bitterness into something positive. I mean, I'm happy for her cos I know how much guts it takes to make something like that happen but because I haven't met Matty , Ofcourse, I ain't happy for me :(
So Me-Ann left earlier than me this time and I didn't leave the apartment until after 9 in the morn. My entire body is still aching from all that walking and with all the "feels" I am getting , I can't think straight. So much that I spent 45 minutes at Vivo shopping mall trying to figure out where Sentosa train station was! Its my 2nd time at Vivo since we went to USS that Sunday but God, I really can't remember a thing. I'm just all over the place. LITERALLY. I didn't know how I ended up at a boardwalk but after asking about 3 people, I finally got to the right place. Geez.
I remember I was just praying so hard the whole freakin' time I was on the train that some miracle would happen. I got off the train with tears about to fall from my eyes and started walkin 'round Sentosa like an emotional wreck cos I dunno where the f to start . I was still submerged in my own deep thoughts when I caught something in my peripheral vision, In front of Watson's were 3 girls looking super excited taking photos with a guy wearing a black shirt and shorts holding a paper bag from Watson's. I remember just thinking, This cannot be MATTY, lIT CAN'T be MATTY.. I mean,Watsons , of all places? It can't be this easy! To my surprise, The guy turn around and it was Matthew Fucking Healy like ...what the sh*t! You know, I am usually shy ! My friends can testify that whenever we stalk, I am NEVER the front-liner but Man, I forgot that for a sec ..The only thing that mattered was meeting Matty, taking photos and hugging him! I dunno how I managed to tell him How it was my 1st time flying to SG for them, How I was just there to meet them really... Next thing I know Matty was hugging me and we were taking selfies and we were actually TALKING. Like Dear Lord, Matty is in front of me. I travelled the seas for this guy! Emptied my bank account and braved my fears to get to this moment. I dunno how I kept my composure but it turned out to be a really decent selfie. I mean selfies. cos I took 2 :D

Hours went by and word spread like fire that me and the 3 girls met Matty at Watson's. Coral finally arrived and b'cos she haven't met the boys, I scouted the area with her and i think it wasn't even 10 minutes when we spotted the guys again going to USS. T'was funny cos we were hoping to get our chance with the boys when John (their sax player) came up to us . He was pretty sweet! We didn't really ask but He was trying to get George to come take a pic with us but they were too busy taking a photo with the USS globe , they didn't even notice John trying to get their attention , We ended up just telling John its really ok and we appreciate him trying and he was very apologetic. Such a sweetheart!
When we saw them leaving USS ,Coral decided to walk around the hotels surrounding HRC ,At 1st I was really hesitant b'cos I didn't wanna creep the guys out but at the same time, i wanted to meet George, Ross and Adam. So we went for it and true enough, They are staying over the hotel next to HRC.I contacted Me-ann right away to follow us at the hotel and she got there right in time to meet the boys! So the first one I met was Adam, he was nice but doesn't talk very much. He was super accommodating tho when I asked for a pic , Next was Ross who was nice enough to let us take photos then It was George who was just amazing and sweet! He was talking to me the whole time so I told him I only flew to SG for them and He even asked
if I went to their show here in Manila, And I was like, "Hell yeah but I didn't get to meet you like this". Somewhere between the convo, My hands started shaking so I told him "George, I am sorry, I dunno why I'm shaking but it wont .."I wasn't done with what I was saying when George laughed and said "Why are you shaking, Its just me babe, here let me take the photo". He went ahead and grabbed the phone from my hand and started taking selfies, he took 5! lols I could die in happiness! Like wtf!? George, U r too sweet! I know I looked like sh*t in those selfies but the hell ..*fans self * When he was about to leave , I also asked for a hug, and thought he was just going to give me a quick one but He hugged me so tight it felt like it lasted forever...He didn't let go until I did!Gosh ,.Just remembering how it felt, I am almost in tears right now. George if you ever come across this, I miss you! =(
My friend Coral pics with George turned out to be a mess bos I took it (duh!) so I had to go up to him again and get him to take another pic with Coral and in all sweetness, he said yes and was very nice about it. He is a freakin' amazing human being! What i won't do to hug him like that again! Finally, Matty came down and as amazing as he is, He was the one to ask every person there if they wanted a pic with him, Like come on Matty, How can I not love you, forever and times infinity!? We waited till they're gone then finally went to HRC! The venue was jampacked and its sort'ish outdoor so we were just parched from the incredible heat plus Matty taking off his shirt didn't help at all. lols. All in all it was just awesome! The crowd;s energy is
awesome and They were amazing onstage like always! and I was just happy with how it all turned out. If walking 14 hours in SG had to happen so this can, I will do it again in a heartbeat ♥
