Current Obsession : Whenever Not Ever by SCOTT Moffatt

If you are one of the many active fans of The Moffatts on Facebook then you should know by now that Scott just released the first single off of his upcoming much awaited EP and After years and years of waiting , He actually made a music video!!! I was gushing in excitement when I first saw that it's up on Youtube and had the highest expectations cos I know that he is a musical genius who puts so much heart in his music and Of course It didn't disappoint at all! The video setting was pretty simple but still cool nonetheless. It shows Scott with his bike goin' 'round town, Scott singing on a couch and some pretty cool animation. I like how its simple 'cos you can focus on the song and Scott's vocals .It makes you appreciate his music more!

The first time I listened to the song , I could not, for the life of me, get over it! I overabused my play button cos one play is never enough!!! I personally feel that this style showcased the nice tone of Scott's voice very well! Scott has this awesome raspy vocals and I feel this provided the track the right amount of "sexy" it needs! And I'm not even talking about his close ups on the video just yet! - ha . Speaking of which, Don't you just adore those dreamy eyes? My 13 year old self would cry. haha

" Whenever Not Ever" is catchy, appealing and refreshing! The lyrics and the catchy tune feels like it could be anyone's summer soundtrack! I have sort'ish predicted that Scott will be giving us something new and exciting but to be honest , This isn't even close to what I expected! So good job Scott Moffatt! You have yet again won our hearts! ♥♥♥

The Script NSWS tour : Manila 2015

I'm still alive but I'm barely breathing...

Hearing this first line the first time on the radio , I was sold!

While most people would go for the catchy tune as their biggest deciding factor if they will like the song , I will always go for the lyrics! I am a huge fan of people who can write the perfect words about certain situations or emotions we go through that we usually struggle to even say. You can tell from the lyrics if a song is written from the heart.Having said that,The Script evidently would be the front runners for the most amazing lyrics ever! I love how they can turn the most saddest things into a beautiful art.

Danny, Mark and Glen came to tour Manila three times already and I have never missed one show! Back in 2011 , Dayly Ent brought the guys here the first time for a one night concert! One of our friends from Dayly was kind enough to let us meet the boys and It was the most amazing thing ever! They were super lovely! I had the chance to talk to Danny& he really took his time talking to me and the people there. He even called me sweetheart twice! *dreamy sigh*

Anyway, We didn't get the same luck in 2013 although I scored VIP passes half the price c/o my friend Me-Ann. We met Glen and saw the other guys upclose but b'cos the people from their local security team weren't exactly the friendliest people to the fans no matter how harmless and well behaved we were , We
decided we're not gonna try anymore. Good thing we got to the very front of the stage and had the most amazing time at the show! Danny knows how to please the audience! Its crazy! These 3 guys, they give it their all onstage and every after show , leaves the crowd with the biggest post concert depression ever!

So last April 17th of this year , They came back for the third time for the NSWS tour and this time , it happened at MOA Arena. Such a bummer that I couldn't afford to go VIP this time but I still had such an awesome time having seen it with one of my closest pals from work Jelai especially 'cos this was her very first time watching a concert ever! Although we only bought Upper Box tickets , I was still super excited for her! And Of course, as expected , The Script just keeps getting better and better show after show!

The show ended and I was still having second doubts if me and Jels should go after the guys cos I didn't want her disappointed especially cos my friends who I normally do these things with,weren't going with me which means I have to exert 5 times the effort to make this happen! Miraculously , we met the guys! I only asked Danny for a pic cos he's always close to where we're seated but I was quite happy breathing the same air as them for a good 3 hours , I wasn't exaggerating when I said on FB that it took me 5 cosmos though! I tend to get really shy but I wanted to give Jels the most wonderful experience ever so In the end, We had the Friday night out that we've always wanted , We went to an amazing show and met Danny O' Donoghue!

Meeting Ed Sheeran

Music is the biggest part of my life! I prolly like over a hundred or thousand musicians but I legit support each one of them cos I respect their artistry and the hard work that's being put in just so we'd have the soundtrack of our lifetime! I mean , For the 90's kids out there like me , Can you imagine your high school days being twice as fun had you not listen to the Backstreetboys? You can't put a price on that! I personally believe in buying albums (I still buy cds!) , buying concert tickets , going to their shows and buying their official merchandise . It's a small price to pay to think that their music keeps us company during our happy and sad days. As Taylor Swift would put it .. "People haven't been always there for me but Music always has".

Speaking of my girl T , Her bff Ed Sheeran recently visited Manila in March! If I'd make a list of all the artists I love, in order , Ed will be one of those on the very very top! His music touches my soul , He sings like an angel and He's an amazing songwriter! Been in love with this guy since I heard "Lego House" the first time! As sad as it is, About 2 days after his tickets were released , they were sold out! I remember going to SM Dasma before its even open only to find out , There's no tickets no more! I was so devastated! They eventually released more tickets on the very day of the show itself and b'cos I thought It wasn't going to happen for me no more , I didn't have enough money to buy me a Lower Box! It would have worked if they sold Gen Ad or Upper box tickets too but they didn't so it was just extremely sad :( I just bought my mosh tickets to BSB that time too so I'm broke as hell! Well, Lesson learned.NEVER BE OUT OF MONEY EVER.

I can't tell you how bitter I was seeing posts from people who were all excited to see his show and all the more , seeing pics of people who got to meet Ed already! I honestly felt like deactivating my social media accounts to keep me from seeing these things on my newsfeed , for reals! I wouldn't give up easily though , As hard as I know it would be, I was determined to meet Ed! So after 4 long hours of commuting and 7 hours of waiting , This happened ♥

And Yes I met my favorite ginger of all time and I can't put into words how friggin amazing, down to earth and friendly he was!!! I can't believe I actually held him!!! Its frigging amazing! As soon as I got out of that place , I felt like crying because I was just overwhelmed with sooo much happiness! Never in a million years did I think that I could get this close to Ed! Its just one of the happiest days of my life! So yes, Dreams do come true! Never ever let anyone tell you otherwise! ♥

Boyce Avenue live in Manila 2015

And so It was Happy Heart's day to most people or in my book , Single Awareness Day! lols . Contrary to popular belief , I don't get bitter on V day. I actually like it! Most of the time , There's concerts happening on this day so almost every year , I am out and about with my friends! If I am missing out on love , I would never know for sure cause I have a crazy family that makes life fun for me everyday and the most amazing , awesome , insane friends you could ever get! Speaking of which , I spent this day with 2 of my bestfriends

It wasn't the first time we saw the guys live but because its been years since that happened , we were super excited! Me and Rona attended the first show Boyce Av did in Manila which happened in 2009 a day before Valentine's day and we met Fabian and Stephen (former BA member)! As silly as this sounds, Me and my friends came up with a script to pull this off cause we didn't want them to know we followed them to a bar. I mean we are the friendliest fans ever but we were a tad worried that the thought that we are there too , might creep the guys out! My gay friend pretended that we were so "shocked" to see them there and had the boys come over our table 'cos "apparently" I was his girl and I was like their biggest fan ever. I am not telling how he made that happen cos It's too friggin embarrassing. Well screw it , He pretended he needed to borrow a light to smoke! Yeah its Cirque Du So-Lame! but the boys were such darlings!Funny thing though, we went to their show in Megamall with a cd signing opp 2 days after and Stephen saw Rona and said "I remember you from the hotel! You were with her!" pointing at me. So darn busted! haha Gosh. Good "Ol days!

As I've mentioned we went to 2 out of the 3 or 4 shows they were having then and we became such huge fans!!! I mean who wouldn't be? Alejandro's voice is super awesome especially live! The boys are acoustic gods! They kill it onstage all the time! Also, The guys are super sweet everytime we meet them! Back in 2010 , They came back to share the stage with Kris Allen and we met all of 'em! Stephen is no longer with them at that time though.

Anyways , fast forward 2015 , We went to Smart Araneta about 5 pm cause we have not bought tickets to the show yet & It's crazy how we were planning on going for the Upper Box and ended up buying VIP tickets. We're so random lols. We realized just when we were in front of the ticket booth , that we need to see 'em closer! Of course , The boys were exceptional as always! They sing the most beautiful covers!
We weren't planning on going after the boys but when the show ended , We felt we need to try! After about 8 hours of patience and 5 cups of coffee , We met the boys before they leave for Davao :) Sharing photos!
